After School Training
Free Training At Somer Valley FM
Here at your local community station, we are committed to training as many people as possible to make radio. Whether you're 10 or 80, we'd be happy to show you around and give you some training. There are 3 fully equipped studios here, a stack of portable recording equipment and an outside broadcast unit available to capture what's going on in your area and relay it to your friends and relatives all over the world over the internet and to 65,000 people in the locality over the 97.5FM waveband. We have regular training sessions at the studios for groups of all ages. Monday afternoons from 4-6pm we offer training courses for those of you who are at school during the day. If you're an adult and you would like some training - give us a call and we'll set up a time to suit you. After a few hours in the studio, you could be presenting your own show or helping other local people to put a programme together! Why not give it a try?
